Osteopathy

Osteopathy approaches treatment with a global vision.

The painful area is normally not the cause of this pain, the cause being located in a different region and which also produces a series of remote adaptations.

For example, lumbago (pain in the lower back) could be caused by poor foot support which is the result of the change in alignment in the tibia and femur. This will result in limited hip movement and as a result, causes discomfort to the lower back, leading to pain in this region.

For this reason, Osteopathy works chain reactions caused by injury. In the previous example, we would work on the foot, followed by the tibia and femur and then the hip. Once the whole chain has been treated, we would then check whether the patient has observed any alterations in the lower back region.
