Functional Bandage

Functional bandaging consists of reinforcing, replacing or substituting a musculoskeletal or capsular-ligamentous structure that has been damaged or is susceptible to damage.

We use the functional bandage in two moments:

Therapeutic functional bandage:

After a ligament sprain or a muscle micro-tear, it is interesting to selectively reduce the mobility of the anatomical structure that has been affected. To do this, we will use a combination of elastic and non-stretch bandages to provide the bandage with more or less mobility depending on what we need according to the injury.

Preventive functional bandage:

This type of bandage is closely related to the world of sports, where twists, changes of pace, impacts, etc. occur frequently and where certain joints are subjected to great effort and are more susceptible to suffering some type of injury. What we do with the bandage is reinforce these joints to prevent them from being damaged.
